Description

Progression in veterinary medicine means that the requirement for more intensive nursing care is growing. Patients that require mechanical ventilation can be extremely challenging and require one to one nursing care. This webinar will discuss the reasons a patient may require ventilation, and how the veterinary nurse can best be utilised in these circumstances. Attention will be given to each of the body systems that require intensive nursing in these patients, and to the best ways of monitoring them. Case studies will be used to show how the information discussed can be applied to real-life situations.
