Otitis externa is one of the most common reasons for veterinary consultations in dogs, yet successful management often requires more than simply treating an infection. Chronic and recurrent cases are frequently driven by multiple interacting factors.
In this four-part masterclass, Tim Nuttall, Ross Bond and Kirsti Schildt guide you through the diagnosis and treatment of canine otitis externa. Explore the role of Malassezia pachydermatis, emerging antifungal resistance and the PSPP concept – Primary, Secondary, Predisposing and Perpetuating factors – and learn how to apply these principles to improve clinical decision-making and long-term outcomes.
