Anaesthetic Monitoring - Learn to Love the Sounds of Your Monitor
(incl. TVA)
Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the various vital signs tracked by anaesthetic machines, including heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, temperature, end-tidal carbon dioxide and how these parameters are crucial for patient safety.
Attendees will learn how to interpret trending data from anaesthetic monitors to identify early signs of complications, enabling prompt intervention and enhancing overall patient care during procedures.
The session will emphasise the importance of being attuned to the sounds and alarms of anaesthetic machines, equipping nurses and techs with the skills to respond effectively to any deviations from normal vital sign trends, thereby maintaining patient stability throughout the monitoring process.
