Ellie Mardell, MA VetMB DSAM(fel) MRCVS RCVS Specialist in Feline Medicine

Ellie qualified in 1999 from Cambridge Veterinary School and after 3 years in small animal practice she. She worked at Bristol University for a year, and after gaining the RCVS Diploma in Feline Medicine she worked in private referral practice in the North West of England where she was proud to be awarded RCVS Specialist Status in Feline Medicine and later to establish a centre for radioiodine treatment of hyperthyroid cats. Ellie has since established her own company, Feline Better Ltd, providing a visiting feline medicine consultancy service to local practices in the North West England and North Wales, allowing her to indulge her passion for cats even further. She also works part time for Axiom Veterinary Laboratories, is an associate editor for the BVA’s In Practice journal, is a lecturer and examiner for the RCVS CertAVP Feline Medicine modules, and is regularly called upon as a speaker, both nationally and internationally.
