Jenni grew up in Central Queensland, and was fortunate to spend her weekends on her grandparents farm. This cultivated a love of animals and a childhood dream to become a veterinarian. She graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with first class honours in 2015. She spent a year in rural mixed practice, before completing a small animal Internal Medicine Internship with Queensland Veterinary Specialists. She moved onto work as an emergency clinician for Pet Emergency for several years, before completing a Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care through the University of Melbourne. She completed her memberships in Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care through the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2021. Jenni feels privileged to be able to work in a field she loves and is currently employed with BVECCS (Brisbane Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Service) as an Emergency Vet. In her spare time, Jenni enjoys getting outside with her dog and spending time with her fiancé and loved ones.
