Effective palliative care takes a village of support and veterinary nurses are perfectly positioned to play a central role. As some of our industry’s most skilled and compassionate professional team members, empowering more nurses to develop greater end-of-life care skills yields great returns.

In this session, Jackie endeavours to break down some of the barriers to nurse-led palliative care and outlines some fundamentals of effective bereavement support. Learn to understand the frameworks of palliative care, help clients more effectively navigate difficult medical decision-making, and advocate for best practice within your team when it comes to geriatric and terminal patients.
