Keshuan graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006. She spent three years in small animal general practice in both Australia and the United Kingdom, before completing a rotating internship and feline medicine residency at the University of Sydney. During this time, Keshuan also attained membership by examination to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists and completed a Masters degree related to feline hyperthyroidism. Keshuan currently works in a feline-only private practice in Melbourne, Australia.
