Neonatal Puppies & Kittens: Thriving or Just Surviving?

Neonatal Puppies & Kittens: Thriving or Just Surviving?
Neonatal Puppies & Kittens: Thriving or Just Surviving?

In this webinar, we will focus on the crucial aspects of neonatal monitoring that allow us to identify when a neonate is experiencing complications. Neonatal patients can often suffer in silence due to their underdeveloped neurological function, limited mobility, and lack of hearing and sight, which complicates the assessment of their condition. As a result, it is necessary to adopt a distinct approach to monitoring these patients compared to adult dogs and cats, in order to fully understand their current condition. By doing this, we can be more efficient in detecting when a neonate's condition is declining, and act appropriately to re-set them on a path to thriving.
