Jane Bindloss is a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons and a Life Member of both the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia and the AVA’s Veterinary Business Group. She was awarded the AVA Meritorious Service Award in 1998 and was a Finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards in 1997. She sat on the Companion Animal Working Group of the Australian Animal Welfare Strategy from 2005 to 2013 where she developed a real understanding of the issues and concerns encountered by every sector of animal carers. With veterinarian husband Colin, Jane owned, managed and developed Pets at the Vets Hospital; widely regarded as a model veterinary workplace. The successful business was sold to a corporate entity in 2011. Jane and her business partner now consult to veterinary practices and other businesses across Australia through their company “SANE – Practice Management Mentoring”. The company delivers workshops and individual management training to leaders, business owners, managers and teams and provides coaching, mediation and facilitation services. Sie ist aktuell als Dozentin für Neurologie und Neurochirurgie an der Klinik für Kleintiere der Stiftung Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover tätig.
Ihr Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf entzündlichen ZNS-Erkrankungen bei Hund und Katze, insbesondere auf autoimmunvermittelten Prozessen, sowie auf der Anwendung künstlicher Intelligenz in der veterinärmedizinischen Neurologie.

Jeanette graduated from vet school in Germany. She moved to Scotland after to study bacterial skin diseases in dogs and was awarded her PhD by the University of Edinburgh. Jeanette completed a rotating clinical internship at the Animal Health Trust in England, before moving to Switzerland for a Dermatology residency program at the University of Bern, where she also worked as a clinician in her specialist discipline after. Jeanette returned to the UK in 2016, to re-join the Animal Health Trust as a Clinician in Dermatology and progressed to Head of Dermatology. Jeanette then moved to the English south coast and started working in her current position at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists as Dermatology Specialist Clinician in 2020, and has since become Head of Dermatology. Jeanette holds the European Diploma in Veterinary Dermatology and has European and RCVS recognised Specialist status. Her interests are “all things related to skin” but in particular staphylococcal skin infections.

Jen is a specialist veterinary anaesthetist (Dip.ECVAA), currently working at Animalius, a private small animal referral clinic in Perth, Western Australia. Jen graduated with a BVMS from the University of Glasgow in 2005, then worked in general practice in the UK and Australia for seven years. During that time, she developed an interest in anaesthesia and analgesia, and attained Membership (by examination) with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Critical Care in 2011. In 2012, Jen commenced a residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at Murdoch University. Jen became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia in 2015. Jen completed a PhD on the early identification of acute kidney injury in anaesthetised dogs using urinary biomarkers in 2022 at Murdoch University.

Jennifer is an Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technician Specialist and in Utah, USA. She acquired her bachelors and masters degrees from UC Davis in animal biology with a focus in genetics and reproduction. After some time in research, including working in labs that pioneered the research for FIP treatment and feline genome mapping, she decided to transition into working in veterinary medicine. She was one of the first certified technicians in Utah, and achieved her VTS in 2021. She is a published author and experienced speaker. Outside of veterinary medicine she spends her free time adventuring with her husband, and being a doting mom to her four cats.

Jenni grew up in Central Queensland, and was fortunate to spend her weekends on her grandparents farm. This cultivated a love of animals and a childhood dream to become a veterinarian. She graduated from The University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with first class honours in 2015. She spent a year in rural mixed practice, before completing a small animal Internal Medicine Internship with Queensland Veterinary Specialists. She moved onto work as an emergency clinician for Pet Emergency for several years, before completing a Graduate Certificate in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care through the University of Melbourne. She completed her memberships in Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care through the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2021. Jenni feels privileged to be able to work in a field she loves and is currently employed with BVECCS (Brisbane Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Service) as an Emergency Vet. In her spare time, Jenni enjoys getting outside with her dog and spending time with her fiancé and loved ones.

Born in Copenhagen Denmark 1967.
Jens Ruhnau graduated from the University of Copenhagen in 1995. He has worked in private practice since then, and exclusively with veterinary dentistry since 1997. He opened his own referral veterinary dental clinic in Copenhagen in 2007. Today he is head of surgery on that clinic named AniCura TandDyreklinikken doing referral cases in periodontology, endodontology, orthodontics, traumatology and surgical oncology.
Jens Ruhnau passed the European Veterinary Dental College (EVDC) entry exam in 2004 to become the first European veterinary dental specialist in his region. In 2005 he was awarded the Danish specialist title “Specialdyrlæge”.
Jens Ruhnau is a member of European Veterinary Dental Society (EVDS) and a former long term board member. He is also a long term board member of EVDC and at present holding the position of President-Elect in EVDC.
Jens Ruhnau has a number of articles published and is an experienced tutor, teaching on a regular basis in many countries.

Jess' special interests lie predominantly in wound care, emergency and critical care, anaesthesia and fluid therapy.
