Now is the best time to update yourself on Cushing’s: the last few years have seen the introduction of new treatments for the most common adrenal disorders as well as a change in understanding of previous habits. The lecture will present novel simple tools that aid the diagnosis and management of Cushing’s. An evidence-based method to monitor our trilostane-treated dogs would be led by measures of the clinical picture and quality of life of the trilostane (or otherwise) treated pet, alongside a chosen laboratory parameter (e.g. pre-pill cortisol).
