Julien Dandrieux

Julien Dandrieux Dr. med. vet. BSc DACVIM

Julien graduated from the University of Bern, Switzerland, in 2002. Following a rotating internship in the same institution from 2003 to 2004, he undertook a 10 month research project in dermatology.
His medicine residency (from 2005 to 2008) was a joint program between the University of Bern and of Louisiana State University, following which he was awarded the status of Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Medicine.
Julien worked in a private referral centre in southern England (Anderson Moores Veterinary Specialists), before joining the University of Liverpool as Clinician teacher at the Small Animal Teaching Hospital for 2 years. He then worked as a Consultant in Small Animal Medicine for IDEXX for a year and a half, and is presently undertaking a PhD at the University of Melbourne. 
Julien’s main interests in medicine include gastrointestinal disease, nephrology, endocrinology, and haematology.
