Despite the wide variety of flea and tick (acaricide and insecticide) products available on the market, vector-borne diseases (VBD) remain a concern for companion animals in Australia, and not solely in the tropical north. In this webinar I will provide an update on the most important VBD of dogs and cats, with special reference to canine ehrlichiosis, a relatively new disease for us to manage in Australia. The presentation will include information about diagnosis and treatment, as well as a discussion about appropriate preventive measures.
