Flick is a Registered Veterinary Nurse and holds the RCVS Advanced Diploma in Small Animal Nursing.
She is currently studying for an MSc degree in advanced veterinary nursing with an AVN specialism in surgery, and pain management. Flick has worked as an advanced referral nurse in surgical and anaesthesia disciplines for various referral hospitals and is now primarily based in academia.
Flick is the Founder of 'Veterinary Surgical Nursing' (online CPD & social media), and is part of the team at Veterinary Specialist Advice as Clinical Educator in Surgery and Perioperative Nursing.
Flick's clinical interests include clinical anatomy, nursing of multi-trauma surgical patients, thoracic surgery, and endosurgery. She is an international CPD speaker and enjoys writing academic content for nursing journal articles & nurse education courses.
