The human eye can only distinguish a limited range of grey shades — and in radiology, this is exactly why a systematic approach is so important.

The more we train our eyes and follow a clear protocol, the more information we can gain from every radiograph. GREY is designed to help veterinarians recognise subtle findings, distinguish physiological from pathological changes and interpret X-rays with more confidence in everyday practice.

In this free first module, Dipl. Virginie Barberet focuses on the radiographic interpretation of the lungs in dogs and cats. You will learn how to approach lung patterns more systematically, correlate them with pulmonary diseases and use additional radiographic signs to build a meaningful list of differential diagnoses.

This free module is the first part of the full GREY course.
In the full course, you will continue with thoracic radiographs beyond the lungs, including the cardiac silhouette, mediastinal structures and pleural space. Dipl. Emmelie Stock will then guide you through skeletal radiography, with a focus on distinguishing aggressive from non-aggressive bone lesions, followed by radiography of the urogenital tract and abdominal emergency radiography.

X-rays allow us to quickly gain insight into the body of our patients. With practice and a protocol that can be used in everyday life, we can suddenly detect more and increase our ability to draw meaningful clinical information from radiographs.

If grey is also one of your favourite achromatic colours, we invite you to come and celebrate many “wow, I can see it now!” moments with us.

The full GREY course includes:
Module 1 – Radiographic interpretation of the lungs in dogs and cats
Module 2 – Interpretation of thoracic radiographs in dogs and cats, excluding the lungs
Module 3 – X-ray of bones
Module 4 – Radiography of the urogenital system: From technique to diagnosis
Module 5 – From crisis to clarity: Abdominal emergency radiography

The course is available online from 1 July until 31 August 2026.
To achieve certification of attendance, the course test must be submitted successfully before 31 August 2026.

Please note: This product gives you free access to Module 1. If you would like to continue with the complete GREY course, you can access the full course here: Continue with the full GREY course
