1991 - 1992: Veterinarian in production animal practice in Wermatswil, Switzerland.
1992 - 1994:  "Assistant" (Resident) at the Clinic for Andrology and Gynaecology, Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Zurich, Switzerland.
1994 - 1996: "Clinical Assistant" (Resident) at the Department of Theriogenology, Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Pretoria, South Africa (enrolled as a full time MMed Vet (Gyn) student).

2000 – date: Managing Director of the Institute of Endangered Research (Pty) Ltd (Registration no: 2000/022484/07). The main purpose of the business is to breed and trade with rare game species of Southern Africa.
2001 – date: Cofounder and Member of Rovid CC (Registration no: 2001/056424/23). The main purpose of the business is to render veterinary services and to import & export goods, mainly in the pet industry.
2003 – date: Head of Reasearch & Development of V-Tech (Pty) Ltd (Registration no: 2003/009383/07). A company involved with rendering community pharmacy services to veterinarians and importing pharmaceutical ingredients.
2006 – date: Director Sales & Marketing of Afripet (Pty) Ltd (Registration no.: 1997/012941/07). A company manufacturing and selling dog food locally and internationally.
2008 – date: Chairman of the board of directors of SavannaPet AG, a Swiss company manufacturing and distributing dog & cat food and pet produdts in the European union.
2010 – date: Director of Umlondolozabantu Protective Gear (Pty) Ltd (Registration no.: 2010/010755/07). The company manufactures and imports, exports and distributes protective gear.
