Guillaume est maître de conférence en chirurgie des tissus mous des petits animaux à l'Université de Bristol, école des sciences cliniques vétérinaires et membre de l'Institut de cardiologie de Bristol. Guillaume est également un rédacteur en chef adjoint (chirurgie des tissus mous) pour le Journal of Small Animal Practice. Il est également membre de la Commission d'examen de petits animaux du collège européen de chirurgie vétérinaire

Dr Guy Clare graduated in December 1994 from the University of Liverpool. Following graduation he moved straight into small animal practice. 5 years later, together with his wife, they bought a first opinion practice in Bolton. He pursued an interest in ophthalmology gaining the RCVS Certificate in 2004. He ran a private referral practice in the UK and was the visiting ophthalmologist to Liverpool University where he had responsibility for teaching ophthalmology to clinical undergraduates. He has been in Australia since January 2009, working solely in small animal ophthalmology out of North Coast Veterinary Specialists, Queensland. Guy has delivered talks throughout his State and the UK and strives to bring a novel, memory-stimulating and informative approach to what is the most fascinating of veterinary disciplines.
A self-confessed perfectionist-obsessive his poor wife and children indulge and take part in his passion for sport, where he holds coaching qualifications in: rugby union, triathlon, weight lifting, horse riding and surf lifesaving. With respect to the latter Guy has been learning to ride a racing mal knee board (Bondi Rescue style). This he says has been a very sobering experience, but on the positive he won’t need to see an ENT specialist to have his sinuses flushed, as this regularly happens each time he goes out in the surf! If at first you don’t succeed…

Hannah graduated with Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) in 2012 through the University of Queensland. Since graduation, she has worked in a number of busy private practices in Brisbane. Hannah has an interest in medicine so in 2016 completed an external course through the University of Sydney in Small Animal Internal Medicine. Hannah started her residency in 2017 and has recently completed her training in mid-2019. During that time, she also obtained her Membership in Small Animal Medicine. She continues to work at Brisbane Veterinary Specialist Centre as an internal medicine registrar with the goal of sitting her Fellowship exams in 2021. Hannah’s special interests are in the areas of neurology, immune-mediated diseases, infectious disease and procedural medicine.

Hannah graduated from the University of Queensland in 2011 with honours. She was granted several awards including those for clinical excellence and surgery. In 2012 Hannah completed a rotating internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialist where her interest in internal medicine developed. In 2013 she commenced a residency in small animal internal medicine at Louisiana State University completing the residency and passing her board examination in 2016.
Hannah has had multiple published articles in the subjects of endocrinology and infectious disease. She has also published several textbook chapters and presented at the American forum of veterinary internal medicine on her research on short acting insulin analogues. She currently works at a busy referral hospital in Queensland.

Harrie Phillips is the founder of the Australian College of Veterinary Nursing. Harrie qualified here in Australia as a veterinary nurse but is also a UK registered veterinary nurse. She has completed two Diplomas of Veterinary Nursing (Surgical and Emergency & Critical Care) and has worked in a variety of clinics from general practice, ECC, specialist centres and in universities. She has completed her Bachelor of Adult and Vocational Education and her Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Education (from the human world) focusing on simulation, where she topped her class for e-learning in clinical education.
Her nursing passion lies in the surgical realm and in particular neurosurgery and orthopaedics. In addition, she is trained in human hospital level sterilisation and infection control, applying this knowledge to improving procedures in veterinary clinics. She is currently undertaking postgraduate education in infection control, alongside her human medical counterparts, to become a Credentialed Infection Control Professional.

Hayley qualified as a veterinary nurse through the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in The UK in 1999. She spent 7 years in mixed animal practice before leaving England to work for animal welfare charity ‘Animals Asia’ with Asiatic black bears rescued from the bile farming industry in China. In 2012 she moved to Scotland to take up a new position as a Welfare and Anaesthesia veterinary nurse for the University of Edinburgh. Hayley was part of the anaesthesia team and responsible for training final year veterinary students in all aspects of anaesthesia, inpatient care and pain management at the teaching hospital of the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. Hayley also taught animal welfare and clinical skills to veterinary students in developing countries for the Jeanne Marchig International Centre for Animal Welfare Education. Her focus was on improving veterinary education through excellence in patient care and promoting humane alternatives to live animals in veterinary education. In 2018 Hayley moved back to England and now works in a first opinion small animal practice, and also in emergency and critical care. She is the first veterinary nurse to receive an MBE from the Queen for services to veterinary education and animal welfare.

Ms. Heidi Reuss-Lamky graduated from Michigan State University’s Veterinary Technology Program in 1984. She has extensive experience in general practice, and since 1993 has devoted her technical expertise to the surgical department of specialty hospitals. She has been affiliated with Oakland Veterinary Referral Services in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, since 2006. Heidi became certified through the Academy of Veterinary Technicians in Anesthesia and Analgesia in 2003, and sat on the credentials committee from 2005 to 2009. She served in the president’s role on the Executive Board of the Michigan Association of Veterinary Technicians from 2007 to 2009. She was a member of the editorial review board for Today’s Veterinary Nurse Journal from 2015 to 2020. She was also a charter member of the Academy of Veterinary Surgical Technicians, and currently sits on the executive board. She has a special interest in veterinary behavior medicine and achieved Fear Free Elite status in 2020, in addition to a Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional certification in 2021.
Heidi is an ardent advocate for the veterinary technology profession, and serves as a consultant for many allied veterinary industries. She is also a member of the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America Committee on Veterinary Technician Specialties.
Heidi is a prolific author and lecturer, presenting anesthesia, surgical nursing, surgical instrument sterilization, and Fear Free-related topics at veterinary meetings worldwide. She most recently published “Locoregional Anesthesia for Small Animal Patients” in Today’s Veterinary Nurse Journal (formerly Today’s Veterinary Technician Journal), (Summer 2020). She was also honored to receive the 2013 NAVC Dr. Jack L. Mara Memorial Lecturer award. Heidi currently shares her home with her husband, Bryan, and 2 dogs, 2 cats, an African grey parrot and pond koi. In her spare time she enjoys horseback riding, gardening, travel, lecturing, and quenching her never-ending thirst for knowledge.

Dr Heidi Schroeder qualified as a veterinarian from the Faculty of Veterinary Science, Onderstepoort, in 1988. She obtained her MMedVet(Med) – Specialist Physician degree from the same university in 1994. During this time, she was a senior lecturer in the Small Animal Medicine Department. She left the University in 1996 to start a Small Animal Medicine referral practice in Pretoria. She has a special interest in Dermatology and attends to many dermatological referral cases. She has been lecturing to veterinarians all over South Africa on a variety of dermatological topics and has written several cpd articles on various dermatology topics. She was awarded a sponsorship by the World Association for Veterinary Dermatology (WAVD) to attend the 8th World congress of Veterinary Dermatology in Bordeaux in 2016. Together with Prof Andy Leisewitz, she founded the South African Veterinary Dermatology Interest group which aims to promote dermatology in South Africa.

Hélène Amory a obtenu son diplôme en médecine vétérinaire en 1987 et a défendu sa thèse d’agrégation de l’Enseignement Supérieur en 1993 à l’Université de Liège. Elle s’est ensuite entièrement consacrée au développement et à l’enseignement de la médecine interne équine dans cette institution où elle a été nommée professeur en 2007. Elle a été reconnue De Facto en tant que Diplomate de l’European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM) en 2003. Elle a été membre du comité d’examen de ce collège de 2004 à 2009, et est membre du board de ce collège depuis février 2011. Elle est premier auteur ou co- auteur de plus d’une centaine d’articles scientifiques et d’un grand nombre de communications dans des congrès nationaux et internationaux. Elle est très active dans le domaine de la formation continuée en Belgique et en France, et est membre du bureau de la Belgian Equine Practitioners Society depuis 1996, dont elle a assuré le secrétariat jusqu’en 2011.
