Dr. Ralph Harvey teaches anesthesia and pain management in the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in Knoxville, Tennessee. He previously served as the Section Head for the Small Animal Surgical Services and as a member of the University Faculty Senate. His veterinary degree is from the UTCVM and his post-graduate training included internship, residency, and fellowship at Cornell's Veterinary and Medical Colleges.
Dr. Harvey has worked in private small animal practice. He is certified as a specialist by the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia, has served as their Executive Secretary and as a member of the ACVAA Board of Directors. He is currently a member of the Fear-Free Advisory Panel and the Fear Free Executive Council.
He has received the UTCVM Brandy Memorial Award, the Outstanding Faculty Member Award from the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association, and the UTCVM Outstanding Alumni Non-Practice Career Award.
His community service has included work with regional science fair programs, Explorer Scouting, the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, and with wilderness and conservation groups.

Randi graduated from the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany in 2001. She pursued her doctoral thesis funded by a stipend through the Sonnenfeld-Stiftung Berlin in a cooperation between the Radiology Department of the Humboldt Universität Berlin and the Anatomy Department of the Veterinary School of the Freie Universität, Berlin.
Randi then spent time in private practice before pursuing her Diagnostic Imaging residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA. She became board certified with the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and American College of Veterinary Radiology in 2008. Randi then pursued an alternative training program in Veterinary Radiation Oncology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, and became board certified with the American College of Veterinary Radiology (Radiation Oncology) in 2012.
She held a clinical assistant professorship and was section head of the diagnostic imaging section at the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA before relocating to the RVC where she serves as the head of the small animal diagnostic imaging section.
Randi has completed her Ph.D. in cardiovascular imaging with the University of Gent, Belgium in 2015.
She is a member at large of the board of the ECVDI and ECVDI chair of the radiation oncology education and credentials committee in Radiation Oncology, currently working towards establishing radiation oncology as a subspeciality within the ECVDI and ECVIM colleges.She has also served as the president of the CT/MRI Society for the ACVR from 2017-19.

Rebekah graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 and completed a rotating internship at Queensland Veterinary Specialists/Pet Emergency in 2013 before working in referral and university hospitals in Sydney and Perth.
She completed a residency in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care at the Royal Veterinary College in London, United Kingdom, with a concurrent Masters of Veterinary Medicine, in 2019.
Rebekah became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2019 and is a registered specialist in small animal emergency and critical care. She returned to Queensland Veterinary Specialists in 2019.
Rebekah has published articles on mechanical ventilation and anaemia and has presented at international conferences including IVECCS (International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Symposium). Rebekah loves all aspects of critical care medicine including mechanical ventilation, transfusion medicine, septic shock and management of the critical post-operative patient.

Rebekah was born and raised in Melbourne, and apart from a one year stint as an amateur backpacker, has not strayed far. She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2011, and spent three years working in general practice in the inner suburbs, and one year working as an emergency and critical care veterinarian in a veterinary referral hospital. Her passion for the microscope redirected her to pathology, and she completed a Veterinary Clinical Pathology Residency at the University of Melbourne. She currently works as a clinical pathologist at ASAP labs in Melbourne. She is the proud mother of a sassy little Jack Russell Terrier called ‘Momo’.

Zusätzlich steht sie der Firma LABOKLIN GmbH&Co.KG (Deutschland) seit 2004 konsiliarisch zum Thema Allergie zur Verfügung und hält für viele verschiedene Firmen Vorträge und berät diese bzgl. dermatologischer Angelegenheiten.
2000 - 2004 war sie als secretary im Organisationskomitee des WCVD4 (world congress of veterinary dermatology) in Wien, 2005 – 2013 war Frau Dr. Wagner Vorsitzende der Fachtierarztkommission der Österreichischen Tierärztekammer und 2013 – 2016 Mitglied der ICADA (International Committee on Allergic Diseases of Animals).

Graduated in 1987 with a BVSc degree. Spent the next 2 years in the Veterinary section of the South African Defence force. Was then in private practice for 2½ years at the Orange Grove Veterinary Hospital in Johannesburg. Joined the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Veterinary Science, University of Pretoria, as a senior lecturer in 1992 and promoted to associate professor in 1997. From 1997-2000 was Section Head of Small Animal Medicine at the Faculty. In 2001 moved to Bryanston Veterinary Hospital in Sandton as a specialist physician.
In 1990 completed a BVSc (Hons), 1995 an MMedVet (Med) degree, and a PhD in 2005. In 1997 became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine. Since 1995 has been registered with the South African Veterinary Council as a specialist physician. Has presented over 140 papers both locally and internationally and has published over 100 papers and 11 book chapters on diseases of dogs and cats and on research in canine babesiosis.
On the Editorial board of the journal South African Veterinary Medicine since 1997, editor of the 1998 South African Veterinary Association Congress Biennial Congress proceedings, and editor of the proceedings of a 1999 Canine Babesiosis and Ehrlichiosis Symposium. Was a member of the 1999 Iams Company Award Committee and has been the Scientific Editor for the 2006 and 2008 South African Para-Veterinary Congress as well as the Scientific Editor for the 2010 South African Para-Veterinary Congress and the 2011 World Veterinary Association Congress.

Rena was born in Las Vegas, Nevada and attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Utah State University prior to completing her veterinary studies at Murdoch University in 2005. Following graduation, Rena completed a Preceptorship in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care at Murdoch Pet Emergency Centre, prior to working in country mixed animal practice. Rena has since acquired her memberships in Unusual Pets Medicine and Surgery and is one of the few handful of vets in WA to have achieved this qualification.
Rena has a keen interest in small animal medicine and surgery, and in particular exotic animals, and completed Membership examinations in Medicine and Surgery of Unusual Pets through the Australia and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in 2011 and Avian Health (Caged and Aviary Birds) in 2018, and has participated as both Assistant and Head Subject Examiner for the College since attaining qualification.
Rena has worked in private practice since 2006 as a small animal clinician, focused mainly on Unusual and Exotic animals, as well as having an interest in small farm health and general surgery.

Reto Neiger erwarb 1988 das Staastexamen an der Universität Bern und arbeitete danach ein Jahr als Assistenzarzt in einer Gemimschtpraxis (Kühe, Pferde, Kleintiere) und ein Jahr als Doktorand (in Veterinärpathologie). Nach Internship und Residency in Innerer Medizin in Bern und Louisiana, USA, absolvierte er ein PhD in Bern am Inselspital zum Thema "Helicobacter-Infektionen bei Hunden und Katzen". Von 1999 bis 2003 war Reto Neiger Dozent am Royal Veterinary College in London, UK und von 2003 bis 2016 war er Professor und Leiter der Abteilung für Innere Medizin Kleintiere der Universität Gießen, Deutschland. Von 2017 bis Ende 2019 war er als Facharzt für Innere Medizin in der größten privaten Kleintierklinik Deutschlands in Hofheim tätig. Derzeit ist er Country Medical Director von Evidensia DACH (Deutschland, Schweiz, Österreich), der größten Veterinärgruppe in Europa. Er ist Diplomat des American and European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.

Rhea Haralambus absolvierte das Studium der Veterinärmedizin von 1995-2001 an der VetMed Uni Wien und arbeitete zunächst parallel in der Zentralen Notambulanz der Kleintierklinik und in der Weichteilchirurgie der Pferdeklinik (-2003). Nach dem rotierenden Internship an der Pferdeklinik (2003/04) war sie zwei Jahre (2005/06) als Assistenzärztin in der Weichteilchirurgie tätig. Von 2007-2009 absolvierte sie ein ECVS Residency Programm an der Pferdechirurgie der Vetsuisse Fakultät Bern in der Schweiz. 2010 kehrte sie an die Wiener Pferdechirurgie zurück und absolvierte die Diplomprüfung 2012. Seit 2014 ist sie Oberärztin der Pferdechirurgie.

Rhonda has been working in the veterinary industry for almost 20 years. She achieved her Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing in 2007; a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (General Practice) in 2018; and a second Diploma in Veterinary Nursing (Surgery) in 2019. Rhonda has maintained unbroken Accreditation since 2009 and was one of the first nurses in Australia to become an AVNAT Registered Veterinary Nurse. Rhonda spent 12 years in general practice (including a stint in management) but made the move to emergency and speciality practice in late 2015, where she spent nine years as a full-time Surgical and Anaesthesia Nurse. This year Rhonda has taken on a temporary role in Learning and Development to further explore her love of training and education. In her spare time, Rhonda is a VNCA committee member for South Australia, a discussion board moderator for the ViN Veterinary Support Personnel Network, lectures and delivers workshops both locally and nationally, and is also a lead educator for several workshops with VetPrac. She was awarded VNCA Veterinary Nurse of the Year in 2023. Rhonda is passionate about advanced veterinary care and has a special interest in anaesthesia, surgery and critical care. She is a firm believer that there is always something new to learn in this industry, and actively seeks that new knowledge whenever she can.

Qualifying as a veterinary surgeon in 1991, Richard Hammond has a broad experience across clinical, academic and commercial sectors having previously been a specialist in the area of veterinary anaesthesia and an academic clinician. He was awarded a first class honours degree in applied biology in 1987, a degree in veterinary medicine in 1991, a PhD in 1999 in the area of biochemical pharmacology and a masters in medical education in 2012. He holds both Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) and European Diplomas in Veterinary Anaesthesia. As well as having experience of clinical general veterinary practice, Richard has worked as part of the commercial operation of a major pharmaceutical company.

Richard L’Estrange is a 1987 graduate of the University of Queensland. He worked in mixed and small animal practices in South East QLD and the UK before purchasing a Small Animal practice in Brisbane in 1996. Membership of the Australian College of Veterinary Scientists in Veterinary Pharmacology was achieved in 2008. After 22 years of general practice he sold his practice and entered Industry in February 2010 as a Technical Services Veterinarian with what was then Pfizer Animal Health, but is now Zoetis. He is one of a team of vets within the Companion Animal Business of Zoetis Australia and been an integral part of the launches of many recent products in Australia, including Trocoxil.
