Dr Kelly graduated from Murdoch University in 2016 and has worked exclusively in exotic veterinary medicine since. She received her membership qualification in Avian Medicine and Surgery in 2022. She currently works at The Unusual Pet Vets and has a special interest in avian and aquatic medicine. In her spare time, Dr Kelly lectures at Murdoch University and works with the Aquarium of Western Australia (AWQA). She is owned by a menagerie of animals, including two pet turtles, a range of tropical fish and three guinea pigs.

Kenneth graduated with a BVSc from The University of Pretoria in 1995. After graduating he joined small animal practice in Johannesburg for 2 years before returning to the University of Pretoria. In 2000 he obtained a MMedVet (Anaes) and held the position of senior lecturer in anaesthesiology at the university. In 2004 he left the university to re-join private practice before starting his own referral practice in anaesthesiology, pain management and critical care. Kenneth has publish 36 scientific publications, delivered 73 scientific presentations, delivered over 137 continuing education talks, done 13 multimedia presentations, published 39 non-scientific articles, presented 6 course, written one book chapter and attended 63 congress of continuing education. Kenneth currently holds an extra-ordinary lecturing post in Pharmacology in the department of Paraclinical Sciences at the University of Pretoria and runs a private practice dedicated to anaesthesia, analgesia and intensive care. He has regularly examined students in pharmacology, anaesthesiology and clinical studies. Kenneth has and is currently involved in the supervision of 4 students.
Kenneth has a keen interest in total intravenous anaesthesia, intensive care, ventilation and cardiology. His research interests included non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents, anaesthetic depth monitoring and total intra-venous anaesthesia.
Kenneth chaired the Faculty Ethics Committee (Animal Use and Care Committee) until it was dissolved to form a University based Animal Use and Care Committee. I was then a member of the Senate committee for Research Ethics and Integrity and the Animal Use and Care Committee of the University of Pretoria. Kenneth currently serves on the AUCC (RECA) Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.

Kerry has been an emergency vet for 15 years. After graduating from the University of Sydney in 2005 she worked for the first year in a small animal general practice in Sydney, Australia. The following six years she worked as an out of hours vet at a busy small animal referral hospital in Sydney. Kerry furthered her training via a speciality emergency and critical care internship at the University of California in Davis then a three year residency in emergency and critical care at the royal veterinary college in London. Following her training she worked in the United Kingdom at a large referral hospital in both Manchester and Glasgow hospitals. In 2019 she passed her specialty exams to become a diplomat of the American College of Emergency and Critical Care. For the last year she has been living in Sydney as Head of ECC at North Shore Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre, where she started her emergency career 15 years ago.

Kerry, graduated from Edinburgh University and worked in small animal practice for two years before returning to Edinburgh to study for her PhD. She gained both her certificate in Veterinary Cardiology and PhD in 2004. In 2010, Kerry passed her Feline Medicine Australian College of Veterinary Scientists Fellowship examinations. Gaining this diploma level qualification made her eligible to apply for Specialist status, and she was made a Specialist of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in Feline Medicine in 2011. In 2014 Kerry gained her European diploma in Companion Animal Medicine and became a European Specialist in Companion Animal Medicine. After leaving Edinburgh University in 2014 Kerry set up her own company which she managed until 2016 when she started work at Highcroft Veterinary Hospital in Bristol.

Kersti graduated in Veterinary Science from Sydney University. She has a BA in Behavioural Sciences with a major in psychology as well as a Master of Arts (Hons). She is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Animal Behaviour, a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists and a Diplomate of the European College of Animal Welfare and Behavioural Medicine.
Kersti is the principal of a specialist practice in behavioural medicine in Sydney, Australia. She teaches the distance education course in Behavioural Medicine for Centre for Veterinary Education (University of Sydney) and is an adjunct associate professor at Charles Sturt University. She has presented at numerous conferences nationally and internationally and has written many text book chapters, written a book, Training Your Cat, is a regular presenter on ABC radio and is a consultant on VIN (Veterinary Information Network).

Sie ist Autorin zahlreicher Bücher und Artikel zum Thema Verhalten (Schwerpunkt Hunde, Katzen), Training und Verhaltensproblemen. Sie ist Referentin auf nationalen und internationalen Kongressen und unterrichtet in Kursen u.a. der IHK.

She spent three years in small animal general practice in both Australia and the United Kingdom, before completing a rotating internship and feline medicine residency at the University of Sydney. During this time, Keshuan also attained membership by examination to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists and completed a Masters degree related to feline hyperthyroidism. Keshuan currently works in a feline-only private practice in Melbourne, Australia.

Nach erfolgreicher Promotion wechselte sie in die Kleintiermedizin und arbeitete insgesamt 2 Jahre in einer Praxis und Klinik im Großraum München.
2014 wechselte sie aus der Praxis in die Unternehmungsberatung für Tierärzte, wobei der Schwerpunkt ihrer Tätigkeit hier Praxis- und Klinikberatung war.
Bei AniCura ist sie seit 2016 Teil des zentralen Marketingteams und unterstützt die AniCura-Kliniken bei allen Fragen des Marketings. Zudem ist sie in die strategische Weiterentwicklung des Marketings auf zentraler Ebene involviert.

Kirsten graduated from The University of Queensland in 2000 with first-class honours in veterinary science. After graduation, Kirsten worked in mixed veterinary practice in Victoria and the United Kingdom before completing an equine internship at The University of Melbourne. Following her internship, Kirsten worked in equine practice in Victoria and became a member of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in equine medicine. After 10 years in practice, Kirsten undertook a PhD at the Faculty of Veterinary and Agricultural Science at The University of Melbourne investigating infectious causes of diarrhoea in Australian foals. In 2015, Kirsten worked as a lecturer in Production Animal Health at The University of Melbourne. Kirsten has been a research fellow in antimicrobial stewardship since 2015, investigating patterns of veterinary usage of antibiotics and exploring strategies to improve antimicrobial stewardship in veterinary practice.

Klaus Osterrieder beschäftigt sich seit fast 20 Jahren mit den molekulären Mechanismen der Pathogenese von Herpesviren und mit der Entwicklung von Impfstoffen. Sein Labor arbeitet mit Modellviren zu Varicella-Zoster-Virus (VZV), Pferde-Herpesvirus Typ 1 (EHV-1) und Gallines herpesvirus 2 (GaHV-2 bzw. Marek's Disease Virus, MDV). Mittels infektiöser Klone und reverser Genetik erforschen sie die virale Pathogenese und entwickeln basierend auf diesem Wissen Lebendimpfstoffe. Ihre Forschung wird seit 1994 über staatliche Förderungen, u.a. der EU, der NIH, der USDA, der DFG und weitere staatliche und private Quellen finanziert.
Klaus Osterrieder ist Redaktionsmitglied mehrerer Fachzeitschriften, z.B. Zoonosis and Public Health, Journal of Virology, Virus Research, Virology Journal und Veterinary Microbiology.
