Prof. Strube studierte Veterinärmedizin an der Tierärztlichen Hochschule Hannover und promovierte dort im Jahr 2004 zum PhD. Anschließend arbeitete sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin und promovierte 2010 erneut (Dr. med. vet). Im selben Jahr wurde sie Juniorprofessorin und trat schließlich im Jahr 2013 eine Universitätsprofessur und die Leitung des Instituts für Parasitologie der Tierärztlichen Hochschule Hannover an.
Prof. Strube erhielt ein Stipendium der Karl-Enigk-Stiftung und wurde mit dem Förderpreis Tiermedizin der Kurt-Alten-Stiftung, dem Preis der Dres. Jutta & Georg Bruns-Stiftung für innovative Veterinärmedizin und dem Förderpreis der Akademie für Tiergesundheit ausgezeichnet.
Ihre Interessensschwerpunkte sind parasitäre Zoonosen, Tick-Borne Diseases sowie Helmintheninfektionen bei Haus-, Heim- und Wildtieren inklusive der Entwicklung neuer Diagnostika oder rekombinanter Subunitvakzinen.

Frau Dr. Peppler hat von 1994-2000 an der JLU in Gießen Veterinärmedizin studiert. Seit 2000 ist sie Mitarbeiterin der Klinik für Kleintiere, Chirurgie. Zunächst als Doktorandin und danach als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin. Inzwischen ist sie leitende Oberärztin. Seit 2005 ist sie Fachtierärztin für Chirurgie, seit 2010 Dipl. ECVS. Zur Zeit ist sie stellvertretende Leiterin der Abteilung Weichteilchirurgie und Orthopädie. Ihr Interessensschwerpunkt liegt in der Minimal invasiven Chirurgie.

Dr. Christoph Klinger schloss sein Studium 2011 an der LMU München ab und arbeitete in der Kleintierklinik der LMU München, bevor er ein einjähriges Internship absolvierte und 2016 seine Promotion abschloss. Anschließend absolvierte er eine vierjährige, von ECVD- und ACVD-anerkannte Residency (European & American Colleges of Veterinary Dermatology) in München, die er mit Erfolg abschloss und nun doppelt-geboardeter Diplomate (internationaler Fachtierarzt) für Dermatologie ist. Seit 2018 leitet er die Abteilung für Dermatologie & Allergologie an der Tierklinik Stuttgart Plieningen.

Während meiner Zeit in Deutschland konnte ich die Grundlagen der tierärztlichen Tätigkeiten im Notdienst und der täglichen Ambulanz erlernen und das Interesse zur Chirurgie und Zahnheilkunde entwickelte sich hier.
Während der Tätigkeit in der Tierklinik Hollabrunn konnte ich vor allem sehr viel chirurgische aber auch internistische Erfahrung sammeln.
Diese chirurgischen Fertigkeiten auf dem Gebiet der Osteosynthese/Orthopädie und Neurochirurgie aber natürlich auch in der Weichteilchirurgie konnte ich in der Abteilung für Kleintierchirurgie weiter ausbauen.

Dr. Adams is a Professor of Veterinary Medicine, Co-Director of Professional Skills at the University of Calgary, Veterinary Medicine. Her primary role includes directing the Clinical Communication Program across the 4-year DVM program. Her secondary role involves conducting research related to communication in small and large animal practice settings, veterinary professional mental health, veterinary practice culture. She is called upon to assist schools across North America, Australia, Chili, Brazil, Caribbean. Italy to design and deliver communication programs. She works with veterinary practices across North America to address threats and challenges to practice culture resulting in burnout, fatigue, anxiety, suicide.
She consults nationally and internationally in veterinary medicine on all applications of communication in veterinary medicine. She is the founder and Chair of the International Conference on Communication in Veterinary Medicine, Faculty & Board member for the Institute for Healthcare Communication, USA. Her most recent contribution to the profession is a handbook entitled: Skills for Communicating in Veterinary Medicine. This book was written for all members of the practice team as well as those responsible for training and coaching communication in a variety of settings. Dr. Adams was the recipient of the Peak Scholar in Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Knowledge in 2019.

Geboren und aufgewachsen im Mittleren Westen der USA hat Cindy zuerst Veterinary Technology an der Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine abgeschlossen. Kurz darauf ist sie nach Österreich übersiedelt und hat in Wien das Studium der Veterinärmedizin absolviert. Seit über 20 Jahren unterrichtet sie das Wahlfach „English for Clinical Medicine“ an der Veterinärmedizinischen Universität Wien. Zuletzt hat sie zusammen mit einer Partnerin eine Kleintierpraxis in Wien aufgebaut, bevor sie dann zu MSD Tiergesundheit als Market Manager Companion Animal Austria gewechselt ist. Der Unterricht macht ihr nach wie vor großen Spaß.

Claire graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2003 and spent several years in general practice in Australia and the United Kingdom before deciding to specialise. During her internship, she worked veterinary oncologists for the first time and realised that there are always options for animals with cancer, ranging from surgery, radiation therapy and chemotherapy to palliative or comfort care, and she decided that oncology was the career path for her. She moved to the United States in 2009 to undertake a residency in veterinary oncology at the University of Minnesota. She became board certified in 2013 and went on to undertake additional training in research. She was an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee from 2013-2015 and the University of Minnesota from 2015-2017. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and presented her research at several international conferences. Claire is delighted to be home in Australia and at U-Vet Animal Hospital. She is passionate about providing excellent care to all animals with cancer, and their owners, with a focus on maintaining the best quality of life possible for her patients. She is also excited to contribute to the training of our future veterinarians and to continue her research.

Dr Claire Sharp is a Registered Specialist in Small Animal Emergency and Critical Care and Senior Lecturer in the School of Veterinary Medicine at Murdoch University. At Murdoch Claire is involved in clinical service in The Animal Hospital, teaching veterinary students, training interns and residents in ECC, and doing research. Claire did her specialty training in the US, but since returning to Australia in 2015 has been involved in research of snake envenomation and the SnakeMap initiative.

Clara practices and teaches Veterinary Anaesthesia, including intra-operative and post-operative patient care, intensive care and acute and chronic pain management.
Clara graduated from the University of Padua, Italy, in 2008. Shortly afterwards she moved to the UK and joined the Animal Health Trust (Newmarket) for a rotating internship, followed by an internship in Anaesthesia, and a residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Clara completed a PhD in Anaesthesia in 2013 at the Animal Health Trust in collaboration with the University of Padua.
In 2014 Clara was appointed as a Lecturer in Veterinary Anaesthesia at the University of Liverpool and then became a Senior Lecturer in 2016.
Clara gained the European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia in 2015, she is a RCVS specialist in Veterinary Anaesthesia and a member of the Executive Committee of the Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists.
In December 2017 she moved to Sydney and joined the Small Animal Specialist Hospital where she currently works as clinical anaesthetist.

Prof. Clare Rusbridge graduated from the University of Glasgow in 1991 and following an internship at the University of Pennsylvania and general practice in Cambridgeshire, she completed a BSAVA/Petsavers Residency and was Staff Clinician in Neurology at the Royal Veterinary College. She became a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Neurology in 1996, a RCVS Specialist in 1999 and Fellow of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2016. In 2007 she was awarded a PhD from Utrecht University for her thesis on Chiari-like malformation & Syringomyelia and the J. A. Wright Memorial Award by The Blue Cross Animal Welfare Charity in 2011. Clare joined Fitzpatrick Referrals and the University of Surrey in 2013 - after operating a neurology and neurosurgery referral service in Wimbledon for 16 years. She has researched Chiari malformation and syringomyelia for 20 years. She has authored or co-authored over 140 scientific articles (over 50 on canine Chiari) in addition to several book chapters and has co-edited a human medical textbook on syringomyelia. Her other professional interests include neuropathic pain, neurological diseases related to conformation, epilepsy, polymyositis and rehabilitation following spinal injury.
