Dr Sue Ramoo graduated from the University of Sydney in 2004 and worked in general practice for 2 years, in a mixed practice on the central coast of NSW. She embarked on an internship in critical care and internal medicine, then commenced a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the University of Melbourne. Since her residency she has worked in various referral practices in Victoria. Whilst she enjoys all things medical, her interests include diagnostic imaging, medical oncology and endocrinology.

Dr Sue Paterson is a RCVS and European Board-Certified Veterinary Dermatologist. She is an elected Fellow of the RCVS for her contributions to clinical practice in the field of Veterinary Dermatology.
Sue has written 7 text books (including 3 on ear disease) and more than 90 refereed publications in English, European and American journals. She has lectured extensively and has been an invited speaker at international meetings in more than 40 countries.
She is an elected member of RCVS Council, was President of the RCVS 2023 - 24. Sue is a past president of the BSAVA and of ESVD. She is the current President of the World Association for Veterinary Dermatology. Sue is a Trustee of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and in her spare time enjoys long walks with her dogs across the Cumbrian fells where she lives.

Susana Silva graduated from the University of Porto (Portugal) in 2001. After working in small animal practice, Susana moved to the UK and started a small animal internship. Susana obtained her Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Small Animal Medicine Certificate (CertSAM) in 2007 and finished her residency at the University of Bristol in 2009. In 2010, Susana obtained the European Diploma in Veterinary Small Animal Medicine (DipECVIM-CA) and is currently working at Vets Now Referrals, Swindon.

2014 Abschluss des Diplomstudiums Veterinärmedizin an der Vetmeduni Vienna. Svenja Springer widmete sich bereits in ihrer interdisziplinär angelegten Diplomarbeit dem Thema „Praxis der Euthanasie in der Kleintiermedizin“ und assistierte als studentische Hilfskraft während ihrer Studienzeit bei unterschiedlichen Projekten der Abteilung Ethik der Mensch-Tier-Beziehung. Seit September 2014 arbeitet sie zum einen an ihrer Dissertation „Euthanasie in der Kleintiermedizin“ und zum anderen an dem Projekt zum Thema „Hightech in der Veterinärmedizin – Neue Möglichkeiten und wachsende Verantwortung im Berufsfeld der Veterinärmedizin“ und erhielt für dieses Forschungsvorhaben im März 2015 das Vetmed-Success-Stipendium der Vetmeduni Vienna.

Nach dem Studium der Veterinärmedizin an der Veterinärmedizinischen Universität Wien sammelte Tamara Weitzer über mehrere Jahre hinweg umfassende klinische Erfahrung in renommierten Überweisungskliniken in Österreich, Deutschland und Norwegen. Die klinischen Schwerpunkte lagen dabei in der Notfall- und Intensivmedizin, Inneren Medizin, Dermatologie sowie der Notfall- und Weichteilchirurgie. Im Jahr 2020 begann sie ihre Residency in Dermatologie an der LMU München unter der Leitung von Prof. Ralf Müller. Seit 2024 ist sie sowohl vom European College of Veterinary Dermatology (ECVD) als auch vom American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) board-zertifiziert. Im Oktober 2024 übernahm sie die Position als Oberärztin für Dermatologie an der Kleintierklinik der Vetsuisse Fakultät in Bern. Ihre klinischen und wissenschaftlichen Interessensgebiete umfassen insbesondere die Immuntherapie (inkl. Rush-Immuntherapie), Wundheilung und moderne Wundbehandlung, dermatohistopathologische Diagnostik sowie die dermatologische Laser-Chirurgie.

Tami Lind is currently working in the Emergency and Critical Care Unit at Purdue University and has been working at the university for the last 13 years. She attended veterinary technology school at Purdue and graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology. Two years later Tami assumed the ICU and ER supervisor role at Purdue University. She received her VTS in Emergency/Critical Care in 2016. Her passion is teaching veterinary nurses and veterinary students in preparing them for their career ahead.

Tania is a Registered Specialist in Small Animal Surgery having obtained Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2005. Tania has 20 years experience at a Veterinarian and has practiced as a specialist surgeon at various referral centers in England and Brisbane. She recently completed a PhD in Tissue Engineering and was also a lecturer and clinician at The University of Queensland Small Animal Hospital. Tania has recently taken up a position as a surgical consultant at Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Wagga Wagga. Tania performs all aspects of small animal surgery, and has experience with managing more complicated abdominal surgery cases.

Seit dem 1.8.2022 ist sie an der Tierklinik Stuttgart Plieningen als Spezialistin und leitende Oberärztin für Dermatologie und Allergologie angestellt.

Dr Terry King was born and raised in Townsville, North Queensland. He graduated with his Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland in 1975. Over his 19 years in private practice in Brisbane's north western suburbs, Terry accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in small animal practice. After a year's sojourn in the USA and Brisbane's Animal Emergency Centre, Terry joined the University of Queensland Veterinary Teaching Hospital in late 1995 as a medical resident. He went on to become the Director of the Clinic and Hospital in 1997 and again in 2002. Terry joined the team at Veterinary Specialist Services as a Director in 2003. Terry's real passion arises from the emergency side of veterinary practice, particularly the intricacy of understanding and treating the critically ill. He is highly committed to family veterinary medicine, emergency and critical treatment and prolonging the human-animal bond.
