Tami Lind is currently working in the Emergency and Critical Care Unit at Purdue University and has been working at the university for the last 13 years. She attended veterinary technology school at Purdue and graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology. Two years later Tami assumed the ICU and ER supervisor role at Purdue University. She received her VTS in Emergency/Critical Care in 2016. Her passion is teaching veterinary nurses and veterinary students in preparing them for their career ahead.

Tania is a Registered Specialist in Small Animal Surgery having obtained Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2005. Tania has 20 years experience at a Veterinarian and has practiced as a specialist surgeon at various referral centers in England and Brisbane. She recently completed a PhD in Tissue Engineering and was also a lecturer and clinician at The University of Queensland Small Animal Hospital. Tania has recently taken up a position as a surgical consultant at Charles Sturt University (CSU) in Wagga Wagga. Tania performs all aspects of small animal surgery, and has experience with managing more complicated abdominal surgery cases.

Dr Terry King was born and raised in Townsville, North Queensland. He graduated with his Bachelor of Veterinary Science from the University of Queensland in 1975. Over his 19 years in private practice in Brisbane's north western suburbs, Terry accumulated a wealth of knowledge and experience in small animal practice. After a year's sojourn in the USA and Brisbane's Animal Emergency Centre, Terry joined the University of Queensland Veterinary Teaching Hospital in late 1995 as a medical resident. He went on to become the Director of the Clinic and Hospital in 1997 and again in 2002. Terry joined the team at Veterinary Specialist Services as a Director in 2003. Terry's real passion arises from the emergency side of veterinary practice, particularly the intricacy of understanding and treating the critically ill. He is highly committed to family veterinary medicine, emergency and critical treatment and prolonging the human-animal bond.

Dr Fossum’s background includes more than 35 years of educating veterinarians and pet-owners regarding diseases of companion animals. She has been honoured with numerous awards, including Distinguished Alumni and Continuing Educator of the Year.

Dr. Fossum has served as the principal investigator for over 30 million dollars in research funding from industry and the federal government. She is also the founder and former Director and Executive Director of the Texas A&M Institute for Preclinical Studies (TIPS), a 60-million-dollar venture at Texas A&M University which promotes public-private partnerships to speed the development of medical devices and drugs.

After graduating from Vetmed Uni Vienna in 1992 and receiving her doctoral degree in 1996 Dr. Licka worked in general practice for a year before returning to the University as assistant at the Clinic for Orthopaedics in Ungulates. From 1999 to 2002 she was Lecturer in Equine Orthopaedics at the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies, University of Edinburgh, Scotland UK and again returned to the Vetmed Uni Vienna, this time as Assistant Professor in Equine Orthopaedics, where she did a postdoctoral degree (Habilitation) in Ungulates in 2006.
Once again she joined the Royal Dick School of Veterinary Studies and there became Senior Lecturer in Equine Orthopaedics from 2007 to 2009. Since then she is Associated Professor in Equine Orthopaedics at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Vienna, as well as Honorary Fellow at the Royal Dick School.
In 2015 Dr. Licka became Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation (Equine).
She has authored numerous publications and is reviewer for a number of international Journals, as well as speaker at national and international conferences and congresses.

Thierry Francey hat an der Universität Bern Tiermedizin studiert. Nach 3 Jahren Praxis hat er in Bern und Baton Rouge (Louisiana, USA) mit einem Internship und einer Residency seine Spezialisierung in Innerer Medizin erreicht. Er ist Diplomate des American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) und des European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM-CA).
Thierry Francey hat sich in Nephrologie / Urologie mit einem Fellowship an der University of California Davis weiterspezialisiert. Dort ist er dann als Dozent in Innerer Medizin für drei weitere Jahren geblieben. In 2005 ist er nach Bern zurückgekommen und hat die Leitung der Abteilung Innere Medizin für Kleintiere an der Vetsuisse Fakultät Bern übernommen. In 2007 hat er auch die klinische Forschungsgruppe NephroBern gegründet und die Dialysestation eröffnet. Seitdem hat er zahlreiche Veröffentlichungen im Bereich der Kleintier-Nephrologie publiziert und ist in mehreren internationalen Expertenkreisen aktiv.

Thurid graduated in Veterinary Science from Leipzig University, Germany, and then completed a PhD with focus on canine and feline urinary tract infections at Massey University in New Zealand.
She undertook a rotating internship at the Veterinary Specialist Group in Auckland, New Zealand, and after a residency training in small animal internal medicine Dublin, Ireland, became a board-certified specialist (DECVIM-AC) in 2009. Upon completion of the residency training, Thurid once again pursued her research interests in urinary tract diseases and antimicrobial resistance of bacteria, before working in a large private small animal hospital in Southern Sweden.
In 2013, Thurid joined the team at University of Melbourne Veterinary Hospital as lecturuer and clinician in small animal internal medicine. Thurid has lectured both undergradutates and practitioners in several different countries, and strives to deliver continuing education that is mind-stimulating, up-to-date and reflective of her passion to provide the best possible care to veterinary patients.

Dr Tim Nuttall is an RCVS Specialist in Veterinary Dermatology. He did his residency and PhD at the University of Edinburgh Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies. He then spent 12 years at the University of Liverpool before returning to the Dick Vet as Head of Dermatology in August 2013. Tim runs a busy referral dermatology clinic, with particular interests in atopic dermatitis and antimicrobial resistance.
Tim has written over 100 clinical and scientific publications, and has presented over 150 lectures throughout the world. In addition, Tim has served on RCVS, BSAVA, ESVD, WCVD and DEFRA scientific committees, the International Committee on Atopic Diseases in Animals, and is a scientific advisor to the Bella Moss Foundation and the journal Veterinary Dermatology. In 2014 he received the BSAVA Woodrow Award for outstanding contributions to veterinary medicine.
In his spare time Tim enjoys Munro-bagging (all 284 should be climbed by September!), cycling and single malt whisky.
