Dr. Elizabeth Goudie-DeAngelis attended Ross University College of Veterinary Medicine, she completed her clinical year at the University of Missouri before returning to New York where she worked as an emergency clinician for several months before her rotating small animal internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in NYC. Following her rotating internship she returned to ER briefly before starting a comparative anesthesiology residency and Master's program at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing her residency she started the anesthesiology department at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in NYC, she currently heads the anesthesiology department for the four locations.

Ellie qualified in 1999 from Cambridge Veterinary School and after 3 years in small animal practice she. She worked at Bristol University for a year, and after gaining the RCVS Diploma in Feline Medicine she worked in private referral practice in the North West of England where she was proud to be awarded RCVS Specialist Status in Feline Medicine and later to establish a centre for radioiodine treatment of hyperthyroid cats. Ellie has since established her own company, Feline Better Ltd, providing a visiting feline medicine consultancy service to local practices in the North West England and North Wales, allowing her to indulge her passion for cats even further. She also works part time for Axiom Veterinary Laboratories, is an associate editor for the BVA’s In Practice journal, is a lecturer and examiner for the RCVS CertAVP Feline Medicine modules, and is regularly called upon as a speaker, both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Elsa Beltran received her veterinary degree from the University Cardenal Herrera Ceu, Valencia, Spain, in 2002, following which she spent two years in general practice before undertaking an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at University of Barcelona, Spain. Dr. Beltran completed a neurology internship in 2006 followed by a residency in neurology and neurosurgery at the Animal Health Trust, Newmarket, United Kingdom. Dr Beltran obtained the Diploma of the European College of Veterinary Neurology in 2011 and afterwards she spent 4 years as Senior Clinician at the same institution. In 2014, she joined the Royal Veterinary College, University of London where she is currently working as Associate Professor in Neurology-Neurosurgery. She is the chairperson of the ECVN Credential and Recertification Committee. She is interested in all aspects of veterinary neurology and neurosurgery, but has a particular interest in neuro-ophthalmology, neuroimaging and neurosurgery. Dr Beltran has a passion for learning on Veterinary Education and she obtained the postgraduate Diploma in Veterinary Education in April 2019 and becoming a fellow of the higher education academy.

Emma is a veterinary nurse with over 14 years of expertise in referral medicine. She holds a Diploma in Veterinary Nursing from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), a Postgraduate Certificate in Anaesthesia, and a Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care. She is currently furthering her professional development by studying for a Certificate in Training and Assessment.
Throughout her career, Emma has gained extensive experience across a range of specialties, including internal medicine, oncology, surgery, and emergency and critical care. She is dual-registered with both the RCVS in the UK and the Veterinary Nurses Council of Australia (VNCA).

Emmanuelle graduated in 1996 from the French Veterinary School of Maisons-Alfort. She worked at Equine Sports Medicine Centre at the University of Liège (Belgium) obtained a PhD on respiratory function testing in horses.
In 2010, she created an ambulatory referral practice, the ‘Equine Sports Medicine Practice’ which offers specialized service in equine internal and sports medicine throughout Europe, investigating performance and poor performance in equine athletes of all disciplines. Emmanuelle is team veterinarian for Belgium and veterinary expert for the FEI.
She is also a diplomate of the European College of Equine Internal Medicine (ECEIM). She is author or co-author of over 50 peer-reviewed scientific articles and regularly lectures at international conferences.

Erika’s research areas of interest are minimally-invasive techniques, infectious diseases such as MRSA, and respiratory diseases. She is also very much into the use of new technologies that can help her patients but also into innovative methods of teaching veterinary students and professionals.

Esther Schalke ist seit ihrer Jugend im Hundesport aktiv. Wenig später wurde sie Rettungshundeführerin in den Sparten Flächensuche und Trümmersuche beim BRH (Bundesverband Rettungshunde). Später führte sie ihrem Bloodhound im Mantrailing in Einsätzen für die Polizei in Nordrhein-Westfalen.
Seit 2014 führt sie ihre Labradore auf jagdlichen Prüfungen und auf Jagden als Hundeführerin.
Der berufliche Werdegang von Esther Schalke begann an der tierärztlichen Hochschule in Hannover, wo sie das Studium der Veterinärmedizin absolvierte und im Jahre 2000 auch promovierte. In den Forschungsthemen Aggression bei Hunden, Temperamenttests bei Hunden und Lernverhalten der Hunde war sie langjährige promovierte wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin in der Forschung an der Tierärztlichen Hochschule in Hannover. Es entstanden zahlreiche Publikationen zu den oben genannten Themen. Seit 2008 ist Esther Schalke Fachtierärztin für Tierverhalten und seit 2009 de facto Diplomate ECVBM-CA. Bereits seit dem Jahr 2000 bestand eine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Landesamt für Fortbildung und Personalangelegenheit, der Polizei in Nordrhein-Westfalen. sowie eine vertragliche Tätigkeit von Training und Ausbildung von Personenspürhunden bei der Polizei Niedersachsen.
Esther Schalke referiert für Seminare, Weiterbildungen und Training bei Polizei, Zoll und Militär in diversen Ländern. Darunter Deutschland, Österreich, der Schweiz, Australien, Neuseeland und Schweden, China, Italien, Finnland und die USA.
Esther Schalke ist Gründungsmitglied des 2009 gegründeten Zentrums für angewandte Ethologie und tierärztliche Verhaltensmedizin, der Lupologic GmbH, heute Kynoscience GmbH. Seit 2017 ist sie Vorstandsmitglied der International Working Dog Breeding Association (IWDBA). Anfang 2019 begann ein neuer beruflicher Abschnitt, seither ist Esther Schalke an der Schule für Diensthundewesen der Bundeswehr tätig.
